September 25, 2025: Dr. Moin (PI) won a UCCS Faculty Research & Creative Works Revitalization Fellowship Award of $10,000 from the UCCS Office of Research. This project will fund student researchers in the QAS Lab.

May 13, 2025: The QAS Lab’s graduate research assistant, Nazanin Siavash, won the Graduate Dean Award of the UCCS College of Engineering and Applied Science. This award will cover tuition for 6 credits per semester over the 2025-2026 academic year.

April 22, 2025: Dr. Moin (PI) and the QAS Lab’s undergraduate research assistant, Laura Baird, won an Undergraduate Research Academy (URA) award of $4,000 for research at the intersection of Software Security and AI!

April 23, 2024: Dr. Moin (PI), Dr. Eugenia Olesnicky (Co-PI), Dr. Oluwatosin Oluwadare (Co-PI), Dr. Peter Braza (Co-PI), and Dr. Radu Cascaval (Co-PI) won the UCCS CRCW Seed Grant in the amount of $15,000 for starting their interdisciplinary collaboration on “Modeling and Learning Anomalies in Dendritic Branching (MLADB).”
