The Elizabeth Cushman Student Internship in Public Policy

Established Fall 2004 University of Colorado – Colorado Springs

through the generosity of UCCS Economics graduate Elizabeth Cushman to further the education of economics students in public policy research, so as to better prepare them for life after college – in the workplace or graduate study and as a citizen

The student awarded this internship will receive a $500 credit toward their spring tuition. The student intern will work on a research topic of mutual interest for 8-10 hours per week during the spring semester and will be compensated at $14-15 per hour, based on student qualifications. Preference is given to Economics majors and minors with demonstrated ability for oral and written communication, working with statistical models, and attention to detail.
