The event is organized this year by <a href=\"https:\/\/inm.ieeenano.org\/biography-of-professor-vito-puliafito\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Vito Puliafito<\/a> from Politecnico di Bari, Italy. He shared an <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/ieeemagnetics.org\/society-newsletter\/2023-newsletters\" target=\"_blank\">article<\/a> about his experience being both a student in 2010 and now an organizer, 13 years later!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">That year, the IEEE Summer School was organized at UNO and was also attended by then grad-students Ezio Iacocca and <a href=\"https:\/\/sites.udel.edu\/mbj\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">M. Benjamin Jungfleisch<\/a>, both now collaborating on artificial spin ices!
