After a brief stint working in R&amp;D at Streck Laboratories (Omaha, NE), Kevin obtained his PhD in Chemistry under Prashant V. Kamat at the University of Notre Dame, studying \u201cElectron Transfer Reactions in Quantum Dot Sensitized Solar Cells.\u201d Following his PhD work, Kevin joined the lab of Michael S Strano at MIT as a postdoctoral researcher, which was followed by a faculty appointment at UCCS.
