The use of modeling tools for DSP will be a big topic at our first class meeting, but to start with I am assuming scientific computing with Python as the starting point. course of related interest Spring 2025 is Real-Time DSP, ECE 5655\/4655-3, a three-credit course on programming the ARM CortexM4\/M7. Keil MDK is the IDE, and we make use of the ARM CMSIS-DSP library. For our purposes we are interested in learning Python with an emphasis on the so-called <em>scipy stack<\/em> which includes the well-known packages <strong>numpy<\/strong>, <strong>scipy<\/strong>, and <strong>matplotlib<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/lectures.scientific-python.org\/\">Scientific-python.org<\/a><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/faculty.uccs.edu\/mwickert\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/58\/2024\/07\/Python_Basics_2019.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Python Basics<\/a> a tutorial written in Jupyter Notebook.
