Casey presents his work at CSURF

Casey presented a poster on “Domain-wall-induced modulational instability in ferromagnets with perpendicular anisotropy” at CSURF. This year, CSURF was held at the Colorado College. Casey did exceptionally well conveying rather fundamental and mathematically inclined research to an broad audience!
Ferromagnets exhibit memristance

When ferromagnets exhibit a topological texture, its dynamics may exhibit memristance when probed with a current. This effect is the dynamic analog to the anisotropic magnetoresistance (AMR) and was termed anisotropic magnetoMemristance (AMM). Fantastic collaboration with Francesco Caravelli and Cristiano Nisoli, Gia-Wei Chern, and Clodoaldo de Araujo.
